Creating a great steak can seam easy but can also be challenging. The key is to be able to cook it just right. When purchasing the meat you should look for the color, tenderness, and marbling of the meat. The best way to cook a steak is to grill it because you are then able to achieve grill marks with a great charred taste to the beef. The steak should always be seasoned with salt and pepper. To give the steak an Asian flare, or a Mexican flare you can create great sauces that can be used as a marinade for the steak. While the steak is grilling it should be brushed constantly with the sauce in order for it to really soak up the flavors.

Another popular dish that has beef as it's main ingredient is pot roast. Pot roast also seams easy to do since you just throw it in the oven for a few hours, but the end result depends on what you add on to the meat to give it flavor. A pot roast should be very tender and juicy and should actually be sitting in it's juices when placed on the dinner table. The first thing to do is purchase a tender, quality cut of beef from your local grocery store. Once you are ready to prepare the meat make sure that it is sitting in room temperature for a few minutes before you start to prep it. Seasoning the meat is crucial because the meat soaks up the seasoning as it is being cooked. Create a marinade using red or white wine, worcheshire sauce, pepper paste, garlic paste and you may add seasonings such as all spice and cumin. Adding fresh herbs such as rosemary, thyme and sage will also give the meat great flavor. Place the meat with it's sauce and herbs into a turkey bag and place in oven. You can also add vegetables to the bag such as carrots and potatoes.
